Candice Neu is an award-winning filmmaker, producer, director, educator, and media executive whose career bridges the worlds of storytelling, education, and public media. With more than 15 years of experience in education and an accomplished career in film and television production, she has established herself as one of New Mexico's leading creative voices, producing content that informs, inspires, and celebrates the arts.

Candice began her career in the early 2000s producing short films and educational media for private companies and community organizations before expanding into broadcast television and public media. Today, she serves as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Education Channel, where she oversees original programming dedicated to education, arts, and community engagement. Under her leadership, the channel earned national recognition from the Alliance for Community Media with the 2023 Best in Overall Excellence in Educational Access Television award.

A prolific producer and director, Candice has created and led numerous television series, documentaries, educational programs, and promotional campaigns. She is best known as the creator, producer, director, writer, and host of The Neu Agenda, an acclaimed arts and culture talk show now in its sixth season. Broadcasting throughout the Southwest and recently expanding to New York City, the series features in-depth conversations with artists, performers, filmmakers, and creative professionals, highlighting their work and personal journeys.

Her extensive television credits include Duke City Digest, Burque Eatz, Beer Bros, Broadway Bound LIVE, Izzy & Ella in the Kitchen, Seminar: Artist Series, and The Mural Project. Her work has also extended into feature films, serving as Associate Producer on Love in the Clouds (2025) and Coyote Cage (2022), as well as producing multiple music videos for acclaimed recording artist Struggle Jennings.

Candice has contributed to a wide range of independent films, television pilots, short films, commercials, and promotional campaigns, frequently serving in multiple creative roles including producer, director, writer, and editor. Her versatility behind the camera has earned her a reputation for crafting compelling visual stories while mentoring emerging filmmakers and creative professionals. Her work has received significant industry recognition, including a Regional Emmy nomination as Associate Producer for the award-winning PBS series Bands of Enchantment, which has earned both Regional Emmy and Telly Awards.

Beyond filmmaking, Candice is deeply committed to education. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of New Mexico and has dedicated more than fifteen years to teaching and educational leadership. Her experience spans private and public institutions, serving students from preschool through post-secondary education as both an educator and administrator. She is passionate about developing future leaders, fostering creativity, and helping individuals discover their unique voice through education and the arts.
