We offer five core licensure programs:

• Cosmetology (1600 hours) – Haircare, Hair color, Hair Removal, Facials, Makeup Design, Spa Therapies, Infection Control, General Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Electricity, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Business, State Law, State Board Theory and Practical Exam Preparation. This program includes ten (10) professional certifications.

• Instructor (1000 hours) – Prepares future educators with training in teaching strategies, classroom management, student outcomes, and professional ethics. This program includes five (5) professional certifications.

• Esthiology (600 hours) – Skincare, Facials, Makeup Design, Hair Removal, Spa Therapies, Infection Control, General Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Electricity, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Business, State Law, State Board Theory and Practical Exam Preparation. This program includes six (6) professional certifications.

• Nail Technician (400 hours) – Nail Care, Manicures, Pedicures, Spa Therapies, Infection Control, General Anatomy & Physiology, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Business, State Law, State Board Theory and Practical Exam Preparation. This program includes three (3) professional certifications.

• Makeup Artistry (300 hours) – In-depth training in makeup application, artistry, design, and portfolio development. This program includes three (3) professional certifications.

Yes! All programs are designed to prepare students to pass both the written and practical components of the New Mexico state licensing examinations within their chosen field of study.
