Jason Crespin is an award-winning arts leader, director, communicator, and community advocate whose work has helped shape the cultural landscape of the Texas Panhandle for nearly two decades. As the Managing and Artistic Director of Amarillo Little Theatre, Crespin oversees one of the oldest continuously operating theatres in Texas, leading artistic programming, fundraising, community engagement, and educational initiatives while championing diversity, accessibility, and arts education.

Known for his dynamic leadership and creative vision, Crespin has directed acclaimed productions ranging from intimate dramas to large-scale musicals and has expanded theatre education opportunities for hundreds of young performers across the region. During his tenure leading the ALT Academy, enrollment doubled to more than 700 students, while ticket sales, sponsorships, and donor support saw substantial growth.

Crespin’s contributions to the arts and community have earned him numerous honors, including induction into the West Texas A&M University Mass Communications Hall of Fame in 2018, the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Top 20 Under 40 Award, and the Amarillo Globe-News Headliner of the Year Award. He has also received multiple National Youth Arts Awards for Outstanding Direction for productions of Shrek the Musical, Godspell, and Beauty and the Beast. In 2025, he was recognized with the “Man Enough to be a Girl Scout” Award for his commitment to community involvement and youth empowerment.

Beyond regional theatre, Crespin has earned national recognition as a TONY Awards correspondent for Broadway News and NewYork.com, appeared as a Top 4 finalist in ABC’s Live with Kelly co-host contest, and won NBC’s Hollywood Game Night. He has also collaborated with nationally recognized arts organizations and artists, including work with Stars in the House and workshops featuring Broadway performers such as Kelli O'Hara, Megan Mullally, and Mandy Gonzalez.

A graduate of West Texas A&M University with a degree in Mass Communications emphasizing Advertising and Public Relations, Crespin remains deeply committed to using the arts as a tool for education, inclusion, and community connection.
