Cancellation Policy

The Visage Institute is a school establishment licensed by the New Mexico Board of Barbers & Cosmetologists. All services are performed by students under the supervision of a licensed instructor. Because students are learning and refining their skills, appointments may take longer than comparable services performed in a traditional salon or spa. SERVICE ELIGIBILITY & SAFETY Guests must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, recent procedures, skin sensitivities, and other information that could affect a service. The Visage Institute may modify, postpone, or decline a service when a student or supervising instructor determines that proceeding may be unsafe or inappropriate. Minors must have consent from a parent or legal guardian and may be required to have the parent or guardian present. APPOINTMENTS Appointments are required and are subject to student and instructor availability. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in, consultation, and any required consent forms. CANCELATIONS & RESCHEDULING We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Late cancellations and repeated rescheduling may affect your ability to book future services. LATE ARRIVALS Guests arriving late may receive a shortened service or may need to reschedule. This ensures that students have adequate time to perform services safely and that later appointments begin on time. NO CALL/NO SHOW Guests who do not attend a scheduled appointment without notice may be required to prepay or provide a deposit before booking future services. STUDENT SERVICES & RESULTS All services are provided in an educational environment. A licensed instructor supervises students and may observe, advise, demonstrate techniques, or intervene during a service. While every reasonable effort is made to provide a safe and satisfactory experience, results may vary, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed. PERSONAL BELONGINGS Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The Visage Institute is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT By booking an appointment, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy and understand that their service will be performed by a student under the supervision of a licensed instructor.
